Kaled Awada

Kaled Awada is executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Eaton, an intelligent power management company. 

Kaled leads Eaton’s efforts to attract, inspire and retain best-in-class talent, while creating an exceptional workplace experience. He is responsible for shaping the company’s culture and transformation efforts and the global Human Resources strategy, which encompasses leadership and organizational development, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition. He also oversees Global Communications and Community Affairs. 

Prior to joining Eaton in 2025, Kaled worked across several industries and countries in his 25-plus year career, most recently as executive vice president and chief people officer for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), leading the end-to-end people strategy, including talent acquisition, total rewards, labor relations, coworker growth and development, and change management. Before PG&E, he held the roles of executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Tenneco, and vice president, Human Resources at Aptiv. He also spent nearly a decade at Eaton holding roles of increasing responsibility across its electrical, industrial, corporate and regional HR teams.

Kaled holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with an emphasis in organizational change management from The Ohio State University, and certifications from the CHRO Association and the Center of Executive Compensation. He is a member of the Solid Power, Inc. board of directors and is member of the UC Berkely Advisory Board who are helping inform cutting-edge curriculum for developing transformative CHROs.
