Eaton India Foundation is a public charitable trust established in 2015 to streamline and broaden Eaton’s community efforts in India.Eaton’s CSR programs in India began when the company started operations in Pune in 1999. For more than two decades, Eaton has been leading various CSR and community initiatives in the country - in Education, Health and Environment. Eaton actively engages its employees in community service and volunteering.
Our sustainability goals and targets
We’re stepping up our commitment to improve the quality of life and the environment. Our targets include reducing the carbon emissions from our operations by half, lowering product and supply chain emissions, certifying all manufacturing sites as zero waste to landfill, and achieving carbon neutral operations. We have also set targets to further enhance employee safety, development and engagement, and to provide more transparency into the progress the company is making toward achieving its ESG goals.
